1423 m above sea level are a guarantee for snow!
|

Remote from mass tourism, the Montafon has what it takes to make a sports friends’ heart beat faster. Gargellen is located some 1400 m above sea level, and provides our guests with vast amounts of snow from December until April. Our state of the art snowmaking systems will ensure our ski slopes to be in perfect condition all the way to the town’s valley!
No need for a car here when you can reach our ski lift by foot!
When the perfect day on the slopes, and a nice stay in one of our après-ski bars have gone to an end, you can ski or board up to the Wulfenia’s back door!
As your lift pass is valid for the 3 other ski areas in the Montafon as well, you can take the ski bus to get there at any time!
Gargellen is the perfect setting for great ski tours, the Madrisa tour being a special highlight, as it will take you beyond the Swiss frontier even. Moreover, our ski resort is renowned for its excellent off-piste skiing conditions!
You do not ski? No worries, Gargellen has beautiful winter hiking paths in store for you! You can also make use of special snow boots on your walks, or enjoy a great sleigh ride!

Pick and choose
The Montafon mountains are the perfect settings for hiking, climbing, Nordic walking, or riding. Our 2 golf ranges and 3 outdoor pools are at close distance from our guest house. Or would you fancy a trip to the Schrunser Heimatmuseum, a day in the Principality of Liechtenstein, and what about the flower island of Mainau?
We always recommend our guests to go to the close by “Silvretta Hochalpstrasse”. This road will take you to the Piz Buin glacier and offers you a different aspect of nature with each of its numerous turns!
